Nothing says Christmas like a BFG. Yikes. Just out of curiosity, what does one do with one of those, in normal civilian life? Or do I want to know?

One has a lot of fun with one. Plinking, and whatnot. It's not full auto or anything, and it's fairly expensive to shoot. But it's very, very cathartic. There's something primal in me that screams "tommy gun". I don't go for M-16s and fancy nylon/black plastic "tactical" things. Old school heavy stuff is the way to go. Wood and steel and stuff that's 80 years old is much better.

Yeah... a tommy gun is one of the coolest things in the entire world. Even if you don't actually shoot it, it's good to have one. There's just something about it that says "I'm really not into takin' any business" that appeals to me somehow. A tommy gun, as a concept, is unequivocal and pure. Everyone knows what it is. It's a universal symbol.

And fun as hell to shoot.
