Tracy and I saw Sideways the other night. It's a really great movie, but not terribly realistic. The characters spend about 3/4 of the movie drinking red wine, and not a single person winds up with purple teeth. Not once. Kinda runined it for me...
Pete drank Pinot almost exclusivley this weekend at the Wine Festival because of that movie! Personally, I don't have a taste for it- it's "Pi-not thanks". ;-)
You guys missed a good time. Let's shoot for next year, yes??
Posted by suzi at February 27, 2005 4:19 PMBTW- the phrase is "dispend your belief", according to your soon-to-be-a-college-graduate niece...
Posted by suzi at February 27, 2005 4:22 PMYeah, we definitely have to go next year. When there's not so much... weirdness going on.
Posted by wee at March 1, 2005 12:56 AMPinot is SO last January.
Color me purple, but I remain a fan of tacky, trampy little Merlots with hints of "$5.99 Von's special". They may be the hick cousins of fine red wine, but frankly, I'd never want the kind of palate that demands you spend more money on one bottle of wine than on dinner and a movie.
/cheap drunk and proud of it

I think that says it all.
Posted by suzi at March 1, 2005 9:38 PMAnything in a box... and pink! With ice cubes! And a little spritz of ginger ale! And a doily!
As usual, I've said too much.
Posted by E at March 5, 2005 8:04 AMT- how long has E been hanging with Mom? Right down to the doily. Scary.
