I guess that's about right, considering my folks are from Ohio and West Virginia, but I grew up in Arizona (which has no accent to speak of).
I am:
75% General American English
5% Dixie
5% Midwestern
5% Upper Midwestern
5% Yankee
Which is to say, I grew up in Oregon, which is if anything an even blander brand of English than Arizona as far as regional dialect; but I tend to sort of absorb speech patterns from people around me, so I think that accounts for the 5% of other regions. I'm curious for Suzi to take the test and see if she comes out the same, though!
